To hear Dr. Andrea L Gooding is to know the voice of the one who has walked through the fires
of tribulation and emerged as a vessel of gold. The word she brings forth is founded in the
bedrock of Scriptures and ignited by the Holy Spirit to enrich, challenge and inspire the hearts
and souls of God’s people.
Dr. Gooding was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Eleanor B. Holland Archie
L. Holland, Jr. She was educated in private schools. She received her Bachelors of Science
degree in Secondary Education, her Masters in Counseling and Psychology, and in June of 2004,
she received her doctorate in Counseling and Psychology.
Dr. Gooding’s background in counseling has led to extensive outreach ministry. Dr. Gooding is
the Chief Executive Officer of Living Water Community Development Corporation, Inc., and was
officially installed as Pastor of Living Water Community Worship Center on September 30,
2007. Living Water Community Worship Center was created to be a place where those who are
hurting can come and drink of the living water of JESUS CHRIST and never thirst again, based
on John 4:10-14.
Dr. Gooding wears many hats. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, counselor, Chief Executive
Officer and Pastor of Living Water Community Worship Center. Dr. Gooding is the former
President of the Throne of Grace Bible College and Seminary. On July 23, 2022, she was
elevated to the office of Overseer. On August 8, 2025, she was consecrated as a Bishop in the
Lord’s Church. Dr. Gooding currently serves as the Third Assistant Presiding Bishop and holds
various other seats in Alliance of Covenant Leaders Worldwide.
Dr. Gooding is married to Elder Otis Gooding, III. She is the mother of four; David II, Mishael,
Natasha and Nigeria. She is the proud grandmother of fifteen; KaDerrius, MeAsia, David III,
Zariah, Jada, Na’Jae, Justin Jr., Leia, Da'manii, Nolyn, J'Zyiah, Mishael Jr., Novaa’, Davion Jr.,
and Amir.
Amid the hectic pace of ministry, Dr. Gooding stays focused on her mission to “clearly define the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip the saints for living and the work of the ministry.
